Component status definitions

We use four severity levels. Each maps to a specific customer impact so security and procurement teams can interpret the page consistently.

Operational

All checks are green. No customer impact and no elevated error rates.

Degraded performance

Service is reachable but slower than usual or returning intermittent errors.

Partial outage

A subset of customers or one component is unavailable; the rest of the platform is healthy.

Major outage

A core component is unavailable for most customers. Incident response is active.
